How to use Climate Clues? This application serves as a collection of visualized information from fundamental and most recent research of Earth climate. You might use it to answer your questions, and you don't need to understand every piece of information in all the cards of this application. There are some examples how we use it.
- Serve as teaching materials in schools.
- Answer the questions on Earth climate that come up to our mind from time to time.
- Media talks a lot about climate. It leads us to some questions, and sometimes their information is wrong or biased. For example, once I saw one article about climate change, which talked only about the strong greenhouse effect of CH4 without mentioning CO2. To understand better, I use the cards of Climate Clues to compare the radiave forcing of CO2 and CH4, instead of comparing only their atmospheric concentrations or their greenhouse effects.
- With friends, we also talk about climate. Once a friend told us that during some periods in the past several thousand years, Beijing was as hot as today.
